# Visual Studio Code

> VS Code, the editor, with settings that follow the system theme.

VS Code is the main editor, next to IntelliJ IDEA for Java and Neovim in the terminal. Its settings are managed, so a new Mac opens it exactly as the old one had it.

## On the workstation

- Installed by the `visual-studio-code` cask; `settings.json` comes from the config repo.

- Catppuccin Latte in light mode and Mocha in dark mode, following the system.

- JetBrains Mono Nerd Font with ligatures, no minimap, coloured bracket pairs.

- Language servers for Go, Java and TypeScript come from the Brewfile, so editors and AI tools share them.
