jdtls, typescript-language-server and CocoaPods
The Java and TypeScript language servers for editors and AI agents, and CocoaPods for Flutter's iOS builds.
Language servers give an editor or an AI agent what an IDE knows: where a symbol is defined, who calls it, and what does not compile. The workstation installs them once, from Homebrew, so every tool uses the same copy. CocoaPods fetches the iOS libraries a Flutter app depends on.
On the workstation

Claude Code uses them through the

jdtls runs on the Java that mise makes active.
-
Flutter runs
pod installitself when it builds for iOS.
