chezmoi, the dotfiles engine behind the dotfiles provider.

chezmoi applies a source folder of dotfiles to your home folder, with templates for what differs per machine and scripts for setup steps a file cannot express. zc-workstation drives it path by path, so a plan shows each file it would write.

On the workstation

Installed by the chezmoi formula.
The home target applies the config repo’s home/ in symlink mode: editing ~/.zshrc edits the repo.
The theme target applies assets/theme from this repository: colours for the terminal, the bar and the command-line tools.
run_onchange_ scripts set up git, macOS, the screen saver, scheduled jobs, app settings and Claude Code.
